LINKS FACTOIDS The Links was started in 1946 with 9 women.   Today there are over 12,000 active Links members   The Seattle Chapter belongs to the Western Area which consists of the following states: Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Texas, Washington.   The National Headquarters is in Washington D.C.
